How we charge

Total transparency

Honest fees, exceptional value, no surprises

In our view, knowing exactly what you’re paying – and why – is fundamental to a trusted financial planning relationship. Our fees are straightforward, clearly explained, and always agreed with you before any work begins. There are no hidden charges, no small print to navigate, and no awkward conversations down the line. What you see is what you pay.

Below you’ll find a clear breakdown of our charges. And if you have any questions at all, just ask – we’re always happy to talk it through.

Minimum ongoing advice fee £1,495.

Where we provide ongoing services under a client agreement, we won’t charge an implementation fee for increments to existing plans where the funds managed are greater than £500,000.

More than money

The true value of financial planning

It’s natural to weigh up the cost of financial advice – but the true value goes far beyond the numbers. A 2025 report by Aviva found that 88% of people with a financial adviser say it gives them peace of mind, while 80% say it has improved their overall wellbeing. Perhaps most tellingly, 77% say they are better off than they would have been without advice.

At Robson Laidler Wealth, we see this every day. Clients who come to us uncertain and anxious about their financial future leave with clarity, confidence, and a plan they can rely on. That transformation – from worry to peace of mind – is what we’re really here to provide.
